Staff Selection Commission (SSC) today declared the final result of the examination for the posts of Constable (General Duty) and Rifleman (General Duty). Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results on the official website, ssc.nic.in
The exam was conducted from 10 January to 13 February 2023. A total of 370,000 candidates appeared for the exam, out of which 100,000 were shortlisted for the physical test. The physical test was conducted from 1st June to 6th June 2023. A total of 50,000 candidates were shortlisted for the medical test. The Medical Test was conducted from 15th June to 30th June 2023.
The result of the exam was declared on 20 August 2023. A total of 25,000 candidates have been declared successful in the exam. These candidates will now be appointed in various Central Armed Police Forces.
Successful candidates will have to download their appointment letters from the SSC website. Candidates will have to submit their appointment letters to their respective forces by 15 September 2023.
- Go to the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC): https://ssc.nic.in/
- Click on the "Results" tab on the top menu.
- Under the "Results" tab, click on the "GD" tab.
- You will be redirected to a new page where you need to select the exam name as "SSC GD Constable (Male/Female)" and enter your registration number and date of birth.
- Click on the "Submit" button.
- Your SSC GD Result 2023 will be displayed on the screen.
